| In the series ‘Panel Paintings’ the rectangle is divided into sections; the challenge is to bring the discrete elements into a dialogue or relationship.
The process is analogous to memory, loss and retrieval as the surface is layered, abraded and reworked, creating pentimenti and a shift beneath the surface. The distinct sections hold the image in place. |
